Hi, I am Callie! I work three days a week as a speech-language pathologist with children who have delays in their communication or feeding skills as well as with their families. In my free time, I love to sew and craft. I often sew dresses and clothing for our daughter Sydney and also volunteer for a nonprofit organization sewing NICU-friendly diaper shirts for babies in the NICU. I love reading, hiking and camping, and just spending time with my family. In addition to my wonderful husband and daughter, I have an amazing extended family who live nearby and I see them at least once a week.
When I was introduced to Callie back in the summer of 2006, I immediately knew that someone very special was in front of me. She is immensely talented and intelligent, hard working, exceedingly kind, and she lives her life in service to God and to her family. She is quiet and a bit shy; however, once you get to know her, she is fiercely loyal. Callie is a cornerstone for her entire family, unshakable by anything going on around her. I know, with absolute certainty, that I can get through anything, as long as she is with me. However, perhaps the most exceptional thing about Callie is the kind of mother she is. She loves and cares for our daughter, Sydney, with such grace, patience, wisdom, and courage, it is simply mind-blowing. Any child lucky enough to have Callie as his/her mother would immediately receive her entire heart, mind, and strength, given freely without reservation. Sydney and I love her more than anything.
